This weekend just gone saw the first Tough Mudder Australia (http://toughmudder.com.au/) event in Phillip Island. What a great event!!
I was very anxious about this one having no idea what to expect and receiving a waiver that literally signed my life away but I have to say it was the most exciting endurance event I have competed in. The Tough Mudder Melbourne was a 20km course with 28 military style obstacles along the way. I would have to say the highlights were the “walk the plank” a 5 meter drop into a lake followed by a 50m swim, “berlin walls” 4 meter high walls that had to be scaled, and of course conquering “Everest” the slippery 1/4 pipe. I was on cloud 9 crossing that finish line!!
A massive congratulations to everyone who gave it a go and special mention to the very tough BBF clients Renae Louis & Nick Chu who smashed the course! Also a huge thank you to my team mates Russ, Scott & Peter for being awesome and make it such a great day!
